Volunteer Training

  • Biome Slow Craft Collective 1520 W Beall St Bozeman, MT 59715 USA (map)

Compassion is an important skill for everyone, but especially educators, mentors, parents, care workers, and managers. We love working with catalysts of positive change to maximize our collective impact.

In these 2-hour sessions we move through a pattern of experiencing an activity and then applying the lessons we've learned. We cover:

  1. Why compassion is important

  2. Overcoming barriers to compassion

  3. Making compassion relevant to your work and daily life

  4. Incorporating mindfulness

  5. Leading accessible art activities for the therapeutic benefits

  6. Sparking compassionate reflection and storytelling

Attendees are welcome to volunteer with our organization or take what they learned back to their workplace, school, community, or organization.

Educators can receive two renewal units per event.
