After marrying Ira Westbrook, Elaine Westbrook has lived in Bozeman, MT since 2014. Previously, she was living in the “South”, most of the east coast to be exact. She was a high school teacher and Girl Scout leader. This gave her many opportunities to interact with young people. It also opened many interactions with community involvement with young people. From environmental cleanups to supporting the homeless population, she facilitated opportunities for interactions with young persons to make an impact. Upon entering the graduate program for education at Montana State University, she was introduced to the Compassion Project. She felt drawn to be involved with CP because it would leave an impactful impression on the community and their young people.
